Return of the Shadows

This is a fairly ancient piece & some of you may have seen it before, but I couldn't resist pulling it out again for this week's IF prompt, "Shadows." I think any illustrator will recognize the subject!

Ha! Even if it's old, this is a really clever approach to the theme (it was perennial, right?). I love the technique - you really captured that sort of deadened gaze, and the lack of much color really helps cement it. I feel like this should've been a poster in my dorm room, haha. Great stuff!
